We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate ICT Teacher to teach students essential Information and Communication Technology skills. The successful candidate will develop and deliver engaging lessons, provide practical computer-based training, assess students’ performance, and encourage the effective use of technology in learning. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching ICT at all levels.
- Working independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrating good typing and communication skills.
- Teaching all relevant areas of the curriculum.
- Organizing the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment.
- Creating attractive and educational classroom displays.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to learners of varying abilities.
- Motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching methods.
- Maintaining discipline and ensuring effective classroom management.
- Preparing, assessing, and marking students’ work to support positive academic development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant teaching experience.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom-management skills.
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Experience as a WAEC examiner will be an added advantage.
