Ghana Railway Development Authority is seeking to recruit Heavy Locomotive Maintenance Officer (2 Positions).
Job Summary
- To supervise maintenance teams and coordinate locomotive fleet activities
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise scheduled inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance on diesel-electric locomotives.
- Plan and monitor diagnosis and mechanical system faults
- Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance procedures and operational requirements
- Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to report on maintenance
Qualification Required & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years industrial experience in locomotive or heavy equipment maintenance
- Strong leadership, planning and supervisory skills
- Good knowledge of railway maintenance procedures and workplace safety standards
