Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty vehicles and equipment (trucks, loaders, etc.).
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults independently.
• Replace faulty parts and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Perform routine inspections and record maintenance work.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs when needed.
• Ensure all work follows safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Technical or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in heavy-duty vehicle or equipment maintenance.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and vehicle electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently.
• Experience with brands such as HOWO, Sinotruk, CAT, or similar is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety.
