Graphic Design Manager (Overseas Marketing)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Graphic Design Manager to lead visual design efforts for our overseas marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for creating high-impact key visuals (KV), building a scalable overseas visual system, and leading a design team to support brand growth across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the core visual design for overseas marketing campaigns, independently creating Key Visuals (KV) and expanding them into a full set of design deliverables, including:
- Campaign posters
- Social media graphics
- Promotional video covers
- Offline event and exhibition materials
- Adapt visual styles to align with local cultural characteristics while maintaining global brand tone and consistency.
- Design and deliver new product marketing materials for overseas markets, including:
- Product brochures
- Launch posters
- Product detail page visual optimization
- Short-form video cover designs
- Ensure high quality and on-time delivery in fast-paced environments.
- Build, optimize, and manage the overseas visual design system, including design guidelines, templates, and standards to ensure consistent global brand recognition.
- Lead and mentor the design team:
- Allocate tasks efficiently
- Manage timelines and project progress
- Provide creative guidance and professional development
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Collaborate closely with Overseas Marketing, Product, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to accurately translate business goals into effective visual solutions.
- Stay up to date with global design trends, marketing trends, and regional aesthetics, continuously improving visual competitiveness in overseas markets.
- Conduct final quality and compliance reviews of all design materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with:
- Local laws and regulations
- Cultural norms and sensitivities
- Complete other design-related tasks as assigned by the department.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of professional graphic design experience, including 1–2+ years of team management experience.
- Experience working with or for well-known advertising agencies or large commercial design projects; strong understanding of advertising workflows and standards.
- Proven ability to independently create campaign KVs and deliver a complete set of design assets.
- Overseas market or international brand project experience is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other mainstream design tools.
- Strong aesthetic sense, color theory knowledge, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of cross-cultural design preferences, with the ability to localize visual styles for different regions.
- Excellent time management skills; able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to perform well under pressure.
Nice to Have / Bonus Skills
- Experience designing multi-language marketing materials
- Familiarity with overseas social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and their design specifications
- Ability to create motion graphics and video content, including basic animation and visual effects
