Job Summary
You’d report directly to the CEO and be part of the Operations team, which currently consists of a General Council and a People & Talent specialist. You’d collaborate more with these 3 people the most, but would also engage with all members of the Ethena team. All are highly experienced in what they do, collaborative in the way they work and you’ll enjoy working with them in building the operational side of the most highly anticipated project in DeFi this year.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our Financial Operations function, as well as advise & help manger the commercial finance function
- Audit, define and enhance our current processes, procedures and tools
- Proactively identify areas to build and improve financial ops processes
- Collaborate with the executive team to identify and manage budget, financial risks, and ensure the protection of company assets.
- Work with our external advisors tax, legal, compliance etc to assist in tax planning, tax filing and compliance across our geographical entities
- Running payroll (domestic and international) including both token and fiat payments
- Execute both bank & token transactions to pay vendors, partners, and others
- Responding to financial data requests from our investors and other partners
Requirements
- 3+ years accounting experience & at least 1 in an environment with digital assets
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
- Comfortable executing crypto transactions through a multisig and third-party platforms like Coinbase, Copper etc
- Can-do attitude, willing to approach tasks with tenacity
- Strong technical accounting
- Experience within a similar position
- Experience with consolidations + multi-currency reporting
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
