AfroQuality is building Africa's connected retail and distribution platform, helping premium African brands reach consumers across the continent through physical stores, digital commerce and cross-border trade. We currently operate in multiple African markets and are expanding rapidly.

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance & Accounting Manager to help build a scalable finance function that supports our next phase of growth. This role is designed for an ambitious finance professional with the potential to grow into a future Head of Finance. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations across multiple countries.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports.
• Manage working capital, treasury and inventory-related finance.
• Coordinate tax, statutory compliance and annual audits.
• Improve finance systems, reporting and internal controls.
• Support fundraising, financial modelling and strategic business decisions.
• Identify and manage grants, concessionary and blended finance opportunities, including grant applications, budgeting and reporting. 

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CA (qualified or finalist preferred).
• 3–5 years' experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, logistics, technology or high-growth SMEs is an advantage.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.
• ERP experience (Odoo preferred).
• A proactive, hands-on professional who enjoys building systems in a fast-growing business.
