What This Role Is About
Our client is looking for a Feed & Nutrition Manager, based in Ghana, to lead all aspects of dairy cattle nutrition and feed management within a large-scale dairy operation.
This role will focus on designing and implementing feed programs, ensuring optimal herd health, milk yield, and productivity.
You will work closely with farm operations teams to manage feeding strategies, monitor animal performance, and continuously improve nutritional outcomes.
You will also be responsible for feed planning, supplier coordination, and cost optimisation, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all feeding operations.
The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit
- Recent experience in dairy operations is a must.
- Strong background in animal nutrition, feed formulation, and dairy herd management.
- Proven experience managing feeding programs in large-scale dairy farms.
- Strong understanding of milk production drivers, herd performance, and animal health.
- Experience in feed planning, procurement coordination, and inventory management.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Ghana, Africa.
