Role Overview
The Duty Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing daily hospitality operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless coordination across front office, security, housekeeping, and maintenance functions. Acting as the on-duty management representative, the role is responsible for upholding service excellence within a residential apartment environment, addressing operational challenges in real time, and ensuring a consistently high standard of guest and resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
• Oversee day-to-day operations across front desk, security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams during assigned shifts
• Ensure all operational areas function efficiently and in accordance with established hospitality standards and procedures
• Serve as the senior operational authority on duty in the absence of senior management
Team Supervision & Coordination
• Supervise and support front desk and on-duty operational staff
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure staff adherence to standards and schedules
• Coordinate effectively with external vendors and service providers when required
Resident & Guest Relations
• Handle escalated resident and guest concerns professionally and decisively
• Ensure timely resolution of issues while maintaining a calm and service-oriented approach
• Proactively monitor resident satisfaction and service quality
Reporting & Administration
• Prepare shift reports, incident reports, and handover notes
• Track operational issues and ensure proper follow-up and closure
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and resolutions
Standards, Safety & Compliance
• Enforce operational, security, and safety procedures at all times
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and conduct standards
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or irregular situations
Requirements & Qualifications
• 3 to 5 Years Proven experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, real estate management, or facilities operations in hoteling
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage teams and resolve issues under pressure
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills
• High level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail
• Basic to intermediate computer skills for reporting and coordination
Preferred Attributes
• Experience in luxury residential (hotel based apartments), serviced apartments, or hotels
• Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
