Role Description The Delivery Driver role at DnG Delivery is a full-time, on-site position based in Kumasi. The Delivery Driver will operate company motorcycles to pick up and deliver packages safely, on time, and in accordance with company procedures. Responsibilities include verifying delivery information, following planned routes, using digital tools for bookings and live tracking, and confirming successful deliveries with customers. The role involves providing professional customer service, handling packages with care, and representing the company’s values during every interaction. The Delivery Driver will also collaborate with dispatch and operations teams, report any incidents or delays, and follow all traffic, safety, and company regulations.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused skills: Candidates should possess strong Customer Service abilities and a professional approach to interacting with clients.
• Operational and handling skills: Candidates should possess skills related to Forklift Operation or safe handling of goods, including careful loading and unloading where applicable.
• Training and development skills: Candidates should possess Training skills to follow standard operating procedures and adopt new delivery technologies and practices.
• Commercial awareness: Candidates should possess Sales awareness or understanding of business customers’ needs in a logistics or service environment.
• Service industry experience: Candidates should possess experience in Food & Beverage or similar service roles where reliability, timeliness, and customer care are essential.
• Valid motorcycle or vehicle license appropriate for Ghana and a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of Kumasi routes and neighborhoods, with strong navigation skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including peak business times, and manage deliveries under time pressure.
• Basic digital literacy for using mobile apps, GPS, and delivery tracking tools.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and local traffic regulations.
