Computer Aided Design Technician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician role based in Tema. The CAD Technician will create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture and interior fit-out projects, translating design concepts and client requirements into precise technical plans. Responsibilities include supporting designers in refining specifications, preparing production drawings, and updating models based on feedback from the design, production, and installation teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD & Revit ) and ability to produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings.
• Understanding of furniture construction methods, materials, and joinery, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and ability to interpret and follow design briefs and technical specifications.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with designers and artisans.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
