As our Community Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant and loyal community of EV enthusiasts, customers, and prospects. You'll be the bridge between our brand and our audience, sparking conversations, addressing concerns, and amplifying the excitement around our mission. Responsibilities:
- Community Strategy & Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive community engagement strategies aligned with the company's brand values and business objectives, particularly focusing on the EV market.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key community members, brand advocates, and influencers within the EV space.
- Expand our online community presence across various platforms including social media (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok), forums, and potentially a dedicated brand community platform.
- Content Creation & Curation:
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (e.g., posts, videos, infographics, webinars, articles) tailored to different platforms and audience segments, focusing on EV benefits, technology, sustainability, and lifestyle.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and messaging.
- Encourage and showcase user-generated content, fostering a sense of ownership and advocacy within the community.
- Engagement & Moderation:
- Actively monitor and respond to community inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner.
- Moderate discussions across all platforms to ensure a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment, adhering to community guidelines.
- Initiate and facilitate conversations, polls, Q&A sessions, and other interactive activities to boost engagement.
- Event Planning & Execution:
- Organize and host virtual events (e.g., webinars, live streams, online meet ups) and potentially in-person events (e.g., test drive events, owner gatherings) to connect with the audience and build stronger relationships.
- Collaboration & Advocacy:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Customer Support, Product Development, and Engineering, to ensure consistent messaging, gather insights, and relay community feedback.
- Serve as the voice of the community internally, communicating trends, concerns, and suggestions to relevant departments to inform product improvements, marketing campaigns, and customer service.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key community metrics (e.g., member growth, engagement rates, sentiment, reach, conversions).
- Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement, measure the effectiveness of strategies, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Stay Current:
•Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices in community management, social media platforms, and the evolving EV landscape.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (4+ years) in community management, social media management, or a similar role, ideally within the automotive, technology, or sustainable energy sectors.
- Demonstrable passion for electric vehicles, sustainable technology, and environmental responsibility.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and building rapport.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and community management tools (e.g.Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Creative thinker with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with organizing and hosting online events is a plus.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
