We are recruiting a hard-nosed, technically strong Cleaning Operations Manager to take control of, standardise, and scale our cleaning operations across Nigeria, Ghana, and the wider West African region.

You will relocate from Accra to Lagos and take full operational ownership of:

• Equipment performance
• Cleaning quality
• Team competence
• Training standards
• Chemical usage discipline

This role carries authority, accountability, and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Full operational oversight of multi-site, multi-country cleaning services

Direct supervision of supervisors and site managers

Hands-on leadership of mechanised cleaning operations, including:

• Ride-on & walk-behind scrubber dryers
• Steam extractor carpet cleaners
• Chemical extraction carpet systems

Absolute control over:

• Chemical selection
• Dilution ratios
• Surface compatibility
• Safety and compliance

Design and deliver no-nonsense training for cleaning teams across West Africa

Act as regional lead trainer for Hako machines (operation, care, and best practice)

Eliminate reactive cleaning culture and drive planned, professional, machine-led cleaning

• Enforce SOPs, KPIs, audits, and quality benchmarks — without excuses

Work closely with senior management on service improvement, innovation, and regional expansion

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Deep, practical experience in commercial / industrial cleaning
• Someone who can operate the machines themselves, not just talk about them
• Strong understanding of cleaning chemistry, not trial-and-error dosing
• Proven ability to train, discipline, and uplift cleaning teams
• Experience across multiple sites or countries is a strong advantage
• Comfortable relocating to Lagos and travelling across West Africa

This role is not negotiable on technical competence.
