PURPOSE
As part of our ambitious expansion across English-speaking and French-speaking Africa, we are seeking outstanding Chief Executive Officers to lead and scale our telecommunications and digital infrastructure businesses.
These leaders will serve as Country CEOs, based locally, and play a critical role in driving market growth, operational excellence, and strategic partnerships, while strengthening our position as a leading provider of connectivity solutions.
We are looking for visionary, results-driven executives with a strong track record in the telecom sector and the ability to build high-performing organizations in dynamic and diverse markets.
ACTIVITIES / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES – Non-exhaustive list
Main Activities
- Ensure the protection of the Company’s corporate interest, under the supervision and in line with the guidance of the Board of Directors, by guaranteeing responsible and effective governance.
- Build strong partnerships with Business Directors in order to strengthen the organization, enhance its resilience, and ensure its long-term sustainability.
- Represent and promote the Company’s voice with shareholders, government authorities, local communities, key ecosystem stakeholders, and the general public.
- Lead, in close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, the preparation of annual budgets, the structuring of financing requirements, the analysis of investment risks and opportunities, and advise the Board of Directors on financing, risk, and return matters.
- Define, lead, and execute the organization’s short-, medium-, and long-term strategies and policies, in line with growth and transformation ambitions.
- Manage the Company in accordance with the vision and objectives set by the Board of Directors, translating strategic directions into measurable and high-performing operational plans.
- Work closely with the Human Resources Department to develop a strong talent pipeline, structure succession planning for key Directors and Managers, and lead strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Ensure operational excellence and quality across the organization by setting clear and demanding objectives for each department, in coordination with their respective Directors.
- Ensure strict compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements, maintaining an ethical, compliant, and secure operating framework.
- Establish and embody a positive corporate culture that promotes engagement, collective performance, and a healthy, inclusive, and motivating work environment.
- Represent the Company at institutional events, public meetings, and major industry gatherings, strengthening its visibility and influence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Education
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, with proven success in leading teams and delivering strong results.
Professional Experience
- Senior executive experience in the telecommunications sector or a similar industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and public speaking skills to lead senior management and manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing a clear corporate vision.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and performance management.
- Familiarity with key business functions such as marketing, public relations, finance, and related areas.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make well-informed decisions.
- Strong prioritization and delegation skills.
- Excellent planning capabilities to implement strategies aligned with objectives set by the Board of Directors.
- Ability to manage, motivate, and develop employees.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in corporate governance and executive leadership.
- Professional experience in Africa.
- Bilingual in French and English.
