A Chemistry Teacher (Cambridge IGCSE & Cambridge International A Level) is responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Chemistry lessons in line with the Cambridge curriculum. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum.
  • Prepare students effectively for Cambridge IGCSE and A Level examinations.
  • Conduct practical laboratory sessions while ensuring compliance with laboratory health and safety procedures.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students academic progress.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities


Resquirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or a related field (a postgraduate/Masters qualification will be an added advantage).
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience within the Cambridge International Curriculum, specifically at the IGCSE and A Level.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Cambridge Chemistry syllabus and assessment requirements.
  • Have a proven record of preparing students for outstanding performance in Cambridge examinations.
  • Be skilled in planning and delivering engaging, practical, and inquiry-based Chemistry lessons.
  • Possess excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed to safeguarding, student welfare, and continuous professional development.
