Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, production and baking of pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts.
- Set time and speed controls for mixing machines, or blending machines, so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions.
- Measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales or graduated containers.
- Prepare garnishes as needed for baked goods.
- Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensure their proper storage and refrigeration.
- Keep spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.
- Utilize all leftovers into usable products.
- Clean, break down, and put away all baking equipment including ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.
- You shall report to the Bakery Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualification :
- Strong skills in culinary or relevant certification are preferred.
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen setting.
- Ability to prepare fresh juices and beverages
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Creativity and passion for food and culinary arts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
