Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef, located in Accra. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to menu specifications, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are upheld. Tasks also include planning menus, managing inventory and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in a wide range of cooking techniques and meal preparation styles
• Menu planning, inventory management, and ingredient sourcing knowledge
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and proper kitchen practices
• Leadership skills for team supervision and effective communication with staff
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Experience in catering or in a professional kitchen is preferred
• Culinary certification or degree from a recognized institution is an advantage
