Job Summary:
Royal Elmount Hotel is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning menus, preparing exceptional dishes, and overseeing the overall kitchen operations to deliver a memorable culinary experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and update diverse menus that align with the hotel's standards and customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control.
Enforce strict hygiene and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants.
Collaborate with hotel management to create seasonal or event-specific offerings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of international and local cuisines.
Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.
