Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, Humble, well mannered person to join our housekeeping/cleaning team at our hotel. Our hotel has two locations (East Legon & Trasacco) and we are seeking employees for both.
- Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level : No Experience
- Experience Length : No Experience/Less than 1 year
- Working Hours : Full Time
Job Description/Requirements
- Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure
- Perform various cleaning actions such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc
- Making beds
- Replacing dirty linens and towels
- Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses, and notepads
- Removing garbage and room service trays
- Picking up and returning valet laundry items
- Notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances, old light bulbs, or damage
- Upholding the hotel’s confidentiality and security standards
- Cleaning public spaces like lobbies, restaurants, and meeting rooms
- Cleaning back-of-house areas like office and employee changing rooms
- Cleaning stairways, hallways, and elevators
- Emptying garbage cans in public areas
- Notify superiors of any missing room items and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Ensure appropriate maintenance of all housekeeping equipment and tools
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies used in housekeeping activities
- Clean and supply designated facility areas
- Perform and track routine inspection
- Perform and track maintenance activities
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
