Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position as a Central Laundry Attendant 2 at Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel in Accra, Ghana. The role involves handling laundry operations, including washing, drying, and folding linens and guest garments with care and efficiency. Responsibilities include using laundry equipment, monitoring cleanliness, ensuring high standards of service for guests, and maintaining the laundry area in a clean and organized condition. Collaboration with the housekeeping team and adherence to hotel operational guidelines are integral parts of the role.
Qualifications

• A first degree or minimum HND in Textiles or related fields required.
• Experience in Laundry and Laundry Services, with knowledge of handling different fabric types and operating laundry equipment such as washers and dryers.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to address guest inquiries and ensure professional interactions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work within set timelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow established operational procedures.
• Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel-related environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices related to laundry operations.
