Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Executive with expertise in card products to join our dynamic fintech team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth through the acquisition and management of partnerships, channel sales, and market development strategies related to our prepaid, debit, credit and virtual card solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in the card payments ecosystem, including banks, agents, merchants, corporate clients, and fintech partners.
- Assist with the end-to-end sales process for card products—prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and optimize customer acquisition and retention.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, with a strong focus on achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Drive strategic partnerships with payment processors, card networks, aggregators, and distributors.
- Provide input on customer insights to inform product enhancements and ensure a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within fintech, banking, or payment solutions, with a strong track record in card-related products.
- Deep understanding of digital payments, card issuance/acquiring, prepaid/virtual card platforms, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Preferred:
- Experience working with card scheme providers (e.g., Mastercard, Visa).
- Existing network in the banking, fintech, or e-commerce space.
- Knowledge of API integrations and digital onboarding processes for card programs.
