We’re looking for a driven, proactive, and ambitious Business Development Associate to join our team in Ghana. This is a sales-driven business development role focused on acquiring new clients and growing our presence in Ghana’s vibrant events industry. You’ll be responsible for sourcing qualified leads, pitching Tix to event organisers and partners, and closing deals that drive growth. You won’t just maintain relationships—you’ll be out there actively creating opportunities, converting interest into action, and directly contributing to our expansion. The ideal candidate has experience in business development or B2B sales, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is excited about helping creators deliver unforgettable event experiences.

What You'll Do
  • Own the entire sales funnel—from lead generation and outreach to closing.
  • Source, qualify, and onboard event organisers, venues, and corporate clients to use Tix for ticketing and event management.
  • Deliver compelling product demos and presentations that showcase the value of Tix.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies that drive pipeline growth and client acquisition.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure successful onboarding and delivery.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and provide feedback to improve the product and customer experience.
  • Keep accurate records of outreach, pipeline progress, and closed deals using CRM tools.
  • Stay current on trends in the Ghanaian events, entertainment, and ticketing industries.

What You'll Learn
  • You’ll gain hands on experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to closing deals, building a strong foundation as an end to end sales
  • You’ll develop strategic skills learning how to identify, qualify and convert high value customers sharpening your ability to build and manage a high performing sales pipeline.
  • You’ll work closely with marketing and operations learning how to align sales execution with broader business goals and deliver seamless customer onboarding.
  • You’ll gain hands on experience with CRM tools and sales analytics, learning how to track metrics, forecast accurately and use data to continuously improve your sales approach.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales or account management—preferably in the events, entertainment, tech, or SaaS industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the events landscape in Ghana, with a solid network within the ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, operations, and other teams.
  • Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of outcomes.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.
  • Passionate about events, technology, and building something that empowers creators.
  • An unwavering commitment to precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
