Responsibilities
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and growth opportunities within the logistics sector.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Client Acquisition:
- Develop and execute effective strategies to acquire new clients, expanding AbenGlobal's customer base.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
- Partnership Development:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with suppliers, carriers, and technology providers to enhance our service offerings.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements aligning with AbenGlobal's strategic goals.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Create and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support deal closures and meet sales goals.
- Customer Retention:
- Work closely with existing clients to understand evolving needs and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Proactively address challenges to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business development strategies in line with AbenGlobal's overall objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in service offerings and
market positioning.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
