Barista (Specialty in Matcha & Espresso-Based Beverages)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso-based beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, and cold brews according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
• Dial in espresso and adjust grind settings to maintain flavor consistency throughout the day.
• Prepare matcha drinks using both traditional and modern methods (i.e., whisking with chasen, or blending for lattes).
• Ensure matcha is sifted, measured, and whisked properly to deliver smooth, vibrant, and clump-free beverages.
• Greet customers warmly and take orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Offer recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items, particularly matcha and specialty drinks.
• Handle customer feedback with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Keep the coffee bar and workstations clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of matcha powder, espresso beans, milk, and other ingredients.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience as a Barista
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of alternative milks and dietary preferences (e.g., vegan, gluten-free).
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency.
• Open to learning and participating in training workshops.
• Must live in Abelemkpe , Dzorwulu , Lapaz or its environs
