Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Arabic Teacher role based in Accra. The Arabic Teacher will deliver engaging Arabic language lessons, plan and prepare lesson materials, and assess learner progress using appropriate evaluation methods. Daily tasks include teaching reading, writing, and speaking skills in Arabic, integrating Islamic Studies concepts where relevant and appropriate, and maintaining an inclusive, respectful classroom environment. The role also involves communicating regularly with learners and stakeholders about progress, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to co-curricular activities that support language learning and cultural understanding.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with demonstrated experience instructing Arabic learners at various levels.
  • Proficiency in Islamic Studies and the ability to integrate relevant concepts into lessons in a balanced and respectful manner.
  • Competence in Communication and Lesson Planning to design clear, structured, and engaging learning activities.
  • Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) and solid command of English for instruction and collaboration.
  • Relevant teaching certification or degree in Education, Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience working with diverse learner groups and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work on-site in Accra as part of a collaborative team.
