Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable, hands-on, and results-oriented Agronomist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide technical support, field advisory, and product expertise to farmers, clients, and internal teams. This role involves conducting field demonstrations, diagnosing crop challenges, and promoting our agricultural solutions — including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and greenhouse technologies.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor crop performance, identify pest or nutrient issues, and recommend effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on crop management practices including soil fertility, irrigation, and pest control.
- Train and support farmers, distributors, and sales teams on the correct use of our products.
- Develop and implement field trials and demonstrations to showcase product performance and best practices.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify market needs and provide agronomic input for product promotion.
- Prepare detailed reports and technical presentations on field findings and research outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, greenhouse technologies, and sustainable farming methods.
- Represent the company at agricultural fairs, workshops, and farmer engagement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as an Agronomist, Crop Consultant, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of plant physiology, soil chemistry, pest lifecycles, and greenhouse farming
- Solid knowledge of pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, and the greenhouse industry in Ghana.
- Proven ability to diagnose and solve complex crop production problems in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences
- A field-oriented professional, ready to engage farmers, conduct research, and travel as needed.
