Agriculture Graduate / Agricultural Officer

Responsibilities:

• Managing of risks
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Oversee day to day running of the farm and processing facilities
• Supervise farm hands ,in relation to running,general farm maintenance etc
• Develop and manage budget and to track expenses to avoid unnecessary loses and to ensure profitability.
• Manage farm and processing facility's resources and to motivate staff in a collaborative work environment. Ensuring that resources are used wisely and to maximise inputs.
• Maintaining accurate records of all farming and processing operations with data driven analysis.
• Quality control to comply with local and international standards
• Build prospects for local business as well as international buyers.
• Transform the farm and factory owners' vision into actionable plans involving scheduling,production,planning,market demands and local opportunities to generate revenues

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Animal Science, Crop Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of crop production, soil science, pest management, and farm operations.
• Basic knowledge of agricultural tools, machinery, and technologies.
• Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel).
