Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s accounts receivable and credit-control function.
- Monitor customer accounts, outstanding invoices and ageing balances.
- Drive timely collection of outstanding debts and improve cash flow.
- Resolve billing, payment and account discrepancies.
- Prepare receivables reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Work with Accounts and Commercial teams on customer credit matters.
Requirements
- HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- ACCA, CIMA, ICA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit control or collections.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables processes.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong Knowledge of Excel
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Female candidates are preferred.
