Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to oversee all financial transactions, debt recovery, receivables management, Petty cash management, bank deposits, and budgeting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements, and calculate tax payments and returns.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) to manage financial data.
- Safeguard customer confidence and protect operational integrity by maintaining the confidentiality of financial information.
- Summarize the company’s current financial status by collecting data and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Prepare and file forms for tax payments and other financial obligations.
- Follow up on outstanding advances and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Manage and record all expenses from petty cash.
- Reconcile advances, including reviewing receipts, coding expenses on general vouchers, and entering data into QuickBooks.
- Generate financial reports as requested by supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Conduct routine physical checks of assets, including IT equipment and inventory
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-graduation work experience.
- Proficient in using at least two accounting or ERP systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong accounting skills with knowledge of corporate finance.
- Proficient in financial reporting.
- Understanding of cash control, asset management, and bank reconciliation.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise sound financial judgment.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
