Role Description The Accountant role at Printware Services Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Accra. The role involves managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow activities. Responsibilities also include preparing tax and regulatory filings, assisting with audits, and implementing internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations. The role requires regular collaboration with management and other teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis to support business planning and performance monitoring.
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes relevant to corporate accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently on-site in Accra while maintaining high professional standards and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ICA, CPA) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in corporate or SME accounting; experience in technology, printing, or services industries is beneficial.
