Title: West Africa Sales Engineer

Division: Weir ESCO

Location: Hybrid

Purpose of Role: As a Sales Engineer you will be the go-to technical expert for ESCO's customers in the West Africa region, as well as having revenue responsibility for a dealer that manages a specific set of countries. You will leverage your technical expertise to support the dealer, as well as your sales colleagues in the region, with on-site technical support that is core to ESCO's value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountability for dealer revenue: Manage the dealer account including meeting monthly revenue projections, budgeting, forecasting, business development and account management.

On-Site technical support: Collaborate with the Africa Product Support team and drive ESCO's on-site technical support in West Africa, including trial management, bucket commissioning, and technical sales support and presentations.

Sales Reporting: Report on dealer activity, opportunities and projections through Salesforce.

Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

· Technical Qualifications (Engineering or trade tested Artisan).

· Post-graduate commercial qualification preferred.

· Experienced in face-to-face technical sales and support in the mining industry.

· An autonomous, customer-centric approach with a history of achieving revenue targets for products with a technical value proposition.
· Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
