Webmaster -IT Professional
Job Function
The Webmaster is responsible for the online experience of the organization's customers, partners, supplier and employees. By using industry standard approaches to develop, design, updating content regularly and working with IT department to ensure optimal availability.
Job Description

• Collaborate with Management and relevant departments to determine VRA Website purpose, functions, requirements and long term strategy
• Develop VRA Web page infrastructure and application related to pages with advanced graphics and features
• Design web pages including graphics, animation and functionality
• Manage the day-to-day operations of VRA website, including updates, maintenance and future development
• Establish policies and procedures around content management
• Develop and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of VRA website usability and functionality.
  

Key Job Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Good first degree in Computer Science, information technology or relevant related field
• Not less than six (6) years relevant post qualification experience in the IT industry, especially, design and management of website
• Good command over HTML (Hyper Mark-up Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and Extensible Markup Language (XML), Ajax, Flash, C+++ or Java, etc.
• Knowledge of operating systems such as open-source Unix operating system or its variants
• Capability in the use of web development application such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft frontpage
• Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Good knowledge in graphic design
