We are seeking an experienced and results driven Transportation Management Controller to manage, support, and optimize the organization's (TMS) and transportation operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and technology partners to enhance transport planning, system performance, pricing and billing accuracy, and operational efficiency while driving continuous process improvement.
Location: Jeddah – Head Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation operations, including daily collections and deliveries.
- Support Transportation Management System (TMS) and Order Management System (OMS) implementation and continuous improvement projects.
- Manage supplier contracts, customer and supplier master data, pricing, and transport rates.
- Monitor transportation KPIs including fleet utilization, delivery performance, route optimization, capacity, and data quality.
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to implement system enhancements and digital transportation solutions.
- Support EDI integration, customer onboarding, dashboards, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate transport billing, accruals, vendor invoice reconciliation, and operational closing.
- Assist in project planning, Go-Live readiness, user training, and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to improve transportation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems and transport implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of transport operations, fleet management, routing, and distribution.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
