Job Summary
Sunda International is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair trailers to ensure safe and efficient operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all trailers meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults on trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailer systems.
- Repair or replace damaged components, including brakes, suspension, axles, tires, and lighting systems.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure trailers comply with operational standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair needs.
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma, or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in trailer or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Knowledge of trailer braking, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
