The Exceptional Teacher (Trainer)

Your Assignment: As a professional with a teaching degree, your primary assignment will be to support the teachers taking part in the TBIS project. You will visit participating schools in the region to help the teachers apply the acquired TBIS teaching methods (interactive and interdisciplinary) in the classrooms. You will also help manage the project practically at the schools. Travelling within the region, and occasionally to other regions, is part of the job.The position holder undergoes training by the Program Director and reports to the Program Director. Salaries are based on Single Spine Salary Structure (qualifications and work experience). 

 Key Personal and Interpersonal Skills Required:

• Teacher degree and/or English literature degree.
• A committed Christian and identification with the academic and spiritual values of the program. 
• An avid reader with an interest in English literature and, equally important, a love of biblical text.
• A creative approach to teaching (or openness to acquire it). 
• Communication skills, Organizational skills, Flexibility

Duration:  Start September 2026 to August 2027 - with the possibility of an extension.

Location: Navrongo, Bolgatanga, Nsutem, Achiase, Cape Coast, Accra, Tema, Kumasi and Volta

 Recruitment Process: After the initial shortlisting, the selected candidates will be trained by the Program Director personally (two training days planned for August) and will be able to prove him or herself in diverse assignments. Final evaluation and assessment and selection will be finalized by mid August.
