Technical Sales Representative (Takoradi or Accra, Ghana)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Representative to support business growth within the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors based at our Takoradi or Accra Offices.
The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, an established network within the sector, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. This role requires regular travel to customer sites and the ability to work independently.
Location: (Takoradi or Accra, Ghana)
This role is open to locally based candidates in Ghana only
Type of Contract: Permanent Contract
Requirements
- Based in or near Takoradi or Accra & must be a Ghanaian national
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Proven sales experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Mining industries
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and target driven
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Knowledge of inspection services, QA/QC, NDT, asset integrity, or industrial compliance will be advantageous
- A technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Inspection, NDT, QA/QC, In-service inspection or related technical fields
The ideal candidate will be confident engaging with technical and operational teams, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting inspection and technical assurance services across the region.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to;
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the Oil & Gas and Mining industries
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Conduct client visits and presentations
- Prepare quotations and follow up on opportunities
- Work closely with management and technical teams to deliver customer solutions
