Job Summary

The Technical Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through the promotion and sale of the company’s technical products and solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively understand customer needs, provide technical solutions, and close sales deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and sales, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job Description/Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in various industries.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand customer requirements.

Technical Expertise:

  • Understand and articulate the features, benefits, and technical specifications of the company’s products.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding product applications, installations, and usage.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.

Proposal and Contract Management:

  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and sales contracts.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements in line with company policies.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on sales proposals and contracts.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with the product development team to stay updated on new products and features.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company’s products.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer information and track sales activities.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical products and solutions relevant to the company’s offerings.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, excellent negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Additional certifications in sales or technical disciplines.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with regular visits to client sites.
  • Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Salary Range: Ghc 5000.00 - Ghc 7000.00
