This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027

The Role
John Tonkin College is ideally seeking a dedicated, innovative and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our team.
The successful applicant should be committed to excellence in teaching and learning, hold high expectations for student achievement, and display the ability to create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. You would employ a range of evidence-based teaching practices, including explicit instruction and differentiated learning strategies, to support students of varying abilities and learning needs. A willingness to embrace current and emerging technologies to enhance student engagement and outcomes is highly desirable.
Applicants should possess a strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be capable of delivering high-quality Mathematics programs across Years 7 to 12. A passionate educator who can inspire a love of learning in Mathematics, foster academic success, and contribute positively to a collaborative and student-focused teaching team would be highly desirable.
