Role Description The Storekeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for the efficient management of stock and supplies within YPE’s retail and logistics operations. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and unloading deliveries, verifying quantities and quality, and organizing items in designated storage areas. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with stock replenishment and packing of orders for distribution. The Storekeeper will ensure that storage areas are clean, safe, and well-organized, follow established procedures for handling equipment and materials, and support internal teams with timely access to required stock. The position requires close collaboration with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to support smooth operations and dependable service to customers.
Qualifications

• Strong inventory control and inventory management skills, including tracking stock levels and maintaining accurate records.
• Practical experience with packing and organizing goods for storage, dispatch, and retail presentation.
• Ability to safely perform unloading tasks and handle materials during deliveries and transfers.
• Knowledge of forklift operation or other material-handling equipment, with adherence to safety protocols (certification is an advantage).
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy and computer skills for using inventory software or spreadsheets.
• Ability to lift and move items safely and follow health and safety guidelines in a warehouse or store environment.
• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or retail operations is preferred; familiarity with logistics or e-commerce is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
