Job summary
Provide support in minimizing and mitigating legal risk, provide legal services to the various divisions and the Company towards ensuring corporate governance.

Key Tasks
- Support in the conduct of research and legal opinions, gather and evaluate relevant facts, research applicable laws and provide recommendations on the legal consequences of business initiatives, decisions and highlight attendant risks.
- Draft, review and authenticate contracts and incorporate related company policies into contracts.
- Provide relevant advice on company contracts relating to supplier agreements, employment contracts. Provide timely, commercially driven legal advice on business initiatives, by assessing legal implications, regulatory requirements, and associated risks.
- Support and maintain centralized, technology-enabled legal repository (CLM systems), and drive efficiency through the use of digital tools, automation, templates, and standardized playbooks
- Design, update, and continuously improve contract templates, checklists, and governance frameworks to reflect evolving regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Communicate with third parties via Letters, E-mail etc.
- Provide relevant advice and support efforts towards influencing Governmental & Regulatory Policies affecting the Company’s businesses.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to internal policies
- Advise on legal and regulatory requirements relating to data protection, cybersecurity, digital services, and emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and dispute resolution matters, monitor progress, assess exposure, and provide strategic input to mitigate legal and commercial risks.
Education:
LLB.
Must have been called to the bar
Experience:
At least 3 years Legal practice and experience in a similar role
