Key Responsibilities
Student Welfare
- Conduct assessments of students facing social or family challenges
- Provide counseling support or referrals when needed
Family Engagement
- Engage with parents or guardians regarding student welfare
- Conduct home visits where appropriate
Safeguarding
- Support implementation of BASICS child protection policies
- Address cases involving neglect, abuse, or serious family issues
Staff Support
- Train staff on safeguarding practices
- Provide guidance on responding to student concerns
Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Experience working with children or families
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices
