Social Media Marketing Intern

Company Description Zerosol Africa, (Zero Emission Solutions) is a Ghanaian clean-mobility company building the ecosystem for electric vehicle adoption in West Africa. Our divisions cover EV charging infrastructure (ChargeUP), fleet electrification services, EV service and aftersales, solar energy and technician training (Zerosol Academy), with operations across Accra, Takoradi and Kumasi.

We are looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Intern to grow our online presence and turn our audience into customers.

Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support Zerosol Africa’s digital presence by assisting with the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms. This internship role is on-site in Accra, where the intern will collaborate with the marketing team to engage audiences, promote the brand, and highlight projects and initiatives related to sustainable mobility and renewable energy. Daily tasks may include drafting social media posts, designing basic visual content, monitoring comments and messages, and compiling performance metrics and reports. The intern will also help with market research, campaign brainstorming, and coordination of digital marketing activities aligned with the company’s communication strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an interest in sustainability and clean energy solutions.
• Ability to create and adapt Social Media Content Creation for different platforms and audiences.
• Foundational knowledge of Marketing principles and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
• Basic familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Accra, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage time effectively.
• Proactive mindset, willingness to take initiative, and openness to feedback and learning.
