Short-form Video Editor

We’re hiring: Short-Form Video Editor — Ryno Delivery (Accra)

Ryno is Accra’s food and goods delivery platform, and we’re building a content engine that people actually stop scrolling for. We need an editor who doesn’t just cut footage, someone who knows what makes a video work and has the taste and creative direction to back it up.

What you’ll do

• Edit TikToks, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts from footage shot by our in-house videographer, plus creator and partner content.
• Own the hook: make the first 1–2 seconds earn the rest of the video
• Shape pacing, sound, captions, text and transitions so every piece feels native to the feed, not like an ad
• Bring ideas, not just edits: pitch concepts, formats and angles, and push back when a brief won’t land
• Turn one shoot into many assets: cutdowns, variations and hook tests for organic and paid
• Stay on top of trends and sounds, and know when to jump in and when to skip
• Work with our videographer, designers, creators and the marketing team on campaigns and launches
• Use performance data (watch time, retention, shares) to make every next edit better

What we’re looking for

• A short-form portfolio with results: show us the views and retention, not just the edits
• A strong editorial eye and real creative direction: you have opinions on concept, tone and story
• Fluency in CapCut and Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects basics a plus
• Great sense of timing, music and sound design
• Deep familiarity with TikTok and Instagram culture in Ghana
• Speed without sloppiness: multiple polished edits a day when needed
• 2+ years editing short-form for brands, creators or agencies

Bonus points

• Experience in food, delivery or consumer brands
• Motion graphics or basic design skills
• Colour grading skills
