We’re recruiting for the Service Technician – Temperature Control to maximise the availability of TC rental assets including maintenance and repairs of equipment and carry out installations, commissioning, decommissioning and attend breakdowns as required.

What you’ll do:
Perform all mechanical or electrical installation tasks in support of new and existing TC machinery working from engineering drawings or schematics, with minimum supervision. This will include equipment such as a Chiller, Aircon, Air handler, dehumidifier, pumps and heat exchanger.
Troubleshoot machinery failure or breakdown (mechanical and electrical) and to perform remedial action while referring to equipment manuals or electrical schematics with minimum supervision.
Strip down and report the condition of a wide range of equipment as stated earlier. To advise on spare parts and to rebuild to a high standard.
Assemble and operate all equipment which includes all the TC equipment’s.
Able and ready to travel for on / offshore jobs on a short notice and can respond to any emergency breakdown calls after office hours.
Able to use a variety of analog and digital measurement equipment for electrical and mechanical parameter measurements.
Liaise with internal / external customers of work-in-progress, including feedback of possible delays or conflict of priorities.
Always maintain work area in a clean and safe manner to prevent any incidents/accidents.
All work should meet suitable standards of craftsmanship, standard codes and specifications, established Company practices, and within assigned guidelines, ensuring that the technical, scope, budget, quality, delivery dateline, health and safety and environmental objectives are achieved
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Mature and secure, domestically or internationally, with the ability and willingness to spend up to 8 weeks away from home on on/off-shore assignments.
Solid knowledge of Temperature Control equipment, its functions, and technical parameters.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Experience in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Temperature Control equipment.
Experience with transformers and generators is an advantage.
Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; or
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
