Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated efficiency in creating interesting tour programs and modify itineraries to suit clients unique requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including I.T. and Marketing departments to enhance company objectives.
- Stay current with latest trends in the tourism and travel management.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers including hotels, resorts, airlines, ground transportation & MICE venues.
- Proactively handle unforeseen challenges and complaints to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Proficiency with the geography and knowledge of Ghana and neighboring countries including Togo, Benin and Cote d’Ivoire.
- Excellent knowledge of travel software (computer reservations systems and e-travel).
- Be knowledgeable in the various areas of travel including domestic, international, business and MICE.
- Demonstrable ability to work under pressure including deadlines and timelines while maintaining a Professional demeanor.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and improvisational skills.
- Proven track record developing and maintaining business relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Proficiency with computers, including writing programs, such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
