Senior Legal Counsel

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead high-level contract negotiations and transactions involving real estate, land acquisition construction, and partnerships.
• Represent the company in court or manage external legal counsel in litigation and enforcement matters.
• Provide legal opinions to the CEO, CLO, and Board on significant legal and regulatory issues.
• Oversee legal due diligence, risk assessments, and conflict resolution strategies.
• Interface with regulators, law enforcement, and external stakeholders on behalf of the company.
• Coordinate internal disciplinary, HR, and compliance investigations from a legal standpoint.
• Manage the legal team’s workflow and mentor junior counsel.
• Ensure that all business activities conform to applicable laws and internal legal standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• LLB and BL qualifications; additional certifications (e.g., LLM, corporate governance, arbitration) are a plus.
• 6–10 years post-call experience in a senior legal role.
• Extensive experience in real estate, litigation, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal portfolios independently.

Salary Range: GHS 7,000 - GHS 20,000
