About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished and dynamic scholar for the position of Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Leadership and Governance. The ideal candidate will have an established record of high-quality research, excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and a commitment to institutional leadership. You will shape the intellectual growth of our students and contribute actively to public policy discourse, executive education, and curriculum innovation in governance and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Mentorship: Design, deliver, and update rigorous courses in leadership, corporate governance, public management, and strategic decision-making for undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs.
• Research & Publication: Maintain an active, high-impact research agenda leading to regular publications in peer-reviewed, internationally recognized journals aligned with governance and leadership frameworks.
• Student Supervision: Supervise undergraduate capstones, Master’s theses, and Ph.D. dissertations.
• Academic Leadership: Lead curriculum development initiatives, chair departmental committees, and mentor junior faculty members.
• Engagement & Impact: Build partnerships with public, private, and non-profit sectors, contributing to executive training workshops, consultancy projects, and policy forums.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: An earned Ph.D. in Leadership, Governance, Public Administration, Management, or a closely related field.
• Academic Rank & Experience:
• For Senior Lecturer: Minimum of 4–6 years of post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution, with a solid portfolio of peer-reviewed publications.
• For Associate Professor: Substantial senior-level academic experience, a distinguished international publication record, demonstrated success in securing research grants, and proven academic leadership.
• Competencies:
• Demonstrated excellence in innovative pedagogy (including hybrid and online learning environments).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse academic and industry stakeholders.
