Senior Information Technology Officer At Ghana Railway Development Authority

The Ghana Railway Development Authority is the designated developer of rail infrastructure and regulator in the rail sector. As part of the set-up process, the Authority has a vacancy to fill.
The Senior Information Technology Officer will provide strategic direction for the achievement of information technology needs of the Authority.
He will coordinate and supervise the design, development and the deployment of IT/IM systems within the Authority, plan, design, and oversee the development of the overall IT infrastructure to meet the information and communication needs of the Authority, initiative the formulation and review of IT policies and procedures for the Authority; prepare periodic and annual reports on equipments, activities, projects and issues related to the Division, and design and implement electronic dissemination of information to Stakeholders
Qualification Required & Experience

• He/she must have a minimum of a master's degree from a recognized tertiary institution in Computer Science or relevant subject area, must have a relevant advanced professional level qualification or industry skill-based certification(s), and a minimum of six (6) years relevant work experience, 2 years of which must be a in a senior management position in a reputable organization
• He/she must have excellent knowledge of procurement management skills, quantitative and analytical skills, Communication and Interpersonal skills, and proficiency in relevant IT applications
