Position: Senior Accountant

Employment: Full-Time

Smile Restore Dental Clinics is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Accountant to take responsibility for financial reporting, controls, reconciliations, budgeting, and overall accounting operations across our clinics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports

• Prepare management accounts and provide financial insights to management

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Monitor and reconcile patient payments and outstanding balances

• Reconcile cash, bank, Mobile Money and POS transactions

• Manage monthly bank reconciliations

• Prepare annual and monthly budgets and financial forecasts

• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Manage payroll accounting and statutory obligations

• Ensure accurate PAYE, SSNIT and tax compliance

• Maintain strong internal financial controls

• Review cashier transactions and investigate discrepancies

• Monitor branch revenue and financial performance

• Support procurement and supplier payment controls

• Prepare documentation for external auditors and regulatory requirements

• Produce weekly and monthly financial reports for management

• Supervise junior accounting/finance staff

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ICA Ghana, CIMA or equivalent is an advantage

• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience

• Experience in a hospital, dental clinic, healthcare facility or multi-branch business is strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls

• Excellent Excel and accounting software skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• High level of integrity and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
