Search Engine Optimization Specialist

Vedgex Digital is a sustainability-focused digital agency helping brands grow through strategic content, SEO, and digital marketing. This role is part of our Internship Training Program, designed to give early-career marketers real-world agency experience, direct mentorship, and portfolio-ready work.
Role Overview
We are looking for motivated individuals to join Vedgex Digital as SEO Content Specialists.
In this role, you will work directly with the founder to optimize existing blog drafts, improve content authority, assist with case studies, and apply real on-page SEO techniques used in professional digital agencies.
This is a hands-on training role designed to build practical skills, not a theoretical internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing blog drafts for on-page SEO and readability.
- Improve content tone to ensure it is authoritative, professional, and clear.
- Conduct basic keyword research and apply SEO best practices.
- Assist in writing and structuring case studies.
- Edit and format content according to agency standards.
- Collaborate within a real agency content workflow.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of the program, you will be able to:
- Optimize blog posts for search engines using real SEO principles and tools.
- Improve content quality, structure, and authority.
- Understand how digital agencies manage SEO content workflows.
- Contribute to and write professional case studies.
- Build a portfolio using published agency work.
Tools
You may use any tools you are comfortable with, including:
- Google Docs / MS Word
- SEO tools e.i. Semrush, ahref, etc (basic familiarity is sufficient)
- AI writing tools e.i. ChatGPT, Gemini, etc (used responsibly)
- Research and editing tools of your choice
The final quality of work is what matters most.

Requirements
- Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week for 3 months
- Strong written English
- Willingness to learn, iterate, and accept feedback
- Basic understanding of content writing (SEO experience is a plus, not required)
- Reliable communication and adherence to deadlines
Important Notes
- This is an internship, unpaid training role.
- There is no guarantee of paid employment after completion.
- Participants who fail to meet quality or commitment expectations may be exited from the program.
