Main Purpose of Role:
Drive the growth of the company's credit and investment portfolio by acquiring new customers, strengthening client relationships, and implementing effective sales and business development strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Reporting Structure:
- Job level: Supervisory
- Reports To: Head of Sales and Business Development
- Direct Reports: Sales Executives (Alternative Markets)
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of supervisory experience in business development, sales, customer service, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of business development strategies and sales growth techniques.
- Sound understanding of market research methodologies and consumer behaviour within the Ghanaian market.
- Comprehensive knowledge of company products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Strong customer service orientation with proven people management and leadership skills.

Role Summary
- Drive sales of the company's products in potential and underserved markets to expand customer reach, boost sales revenue, grow market share, and strengthen the company’s competitive advantage.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of Sales Executives to consistently achieve or exceed projections for sales, customer growth and profitability.
- Create, expand and optimize sales distribution channels to improve product accessibility.
- Monitor and provide insights into market and customer trends to identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and introduction of additional products and services.
- Collaborate with internal support teams, including Marketing & Customer Service and Operations & IT Systems, to ensure operational alignment.
- Manage the performance and professional development of Sales Executives by setting performance expectations and providing coaching and ongoing training.
- Prepare sales forecasts and produce management reports to support decision-making and continuous business development.
